After months of staying at home,
kids are surely longing for some playtime with their friends as much as adults
do. So if your kid is celebrating his birthday soon, why not make it a fun
virtual birthday party? Here are some activities you can do that any kid will
surely love.
#1 Making their own snacks
Most kids find making their own
yummy snacks a fun activity. Think of easy-to-follow recipes and be a teaching
chef for a day. Make sure to find recipes that won't take a long time to make
as some of the kids might easily get bored.
#2 Creating DIY art crafts
This activity will surely feel
just like any online art class but with cakes and balloons. Plan the crafts
you're going to make ahead of time and let the parents of the invited kids know
which materials they need to prepare.
#3 Playing virtual party games
Even with social distancing and
having the birthday party online, some usual party games can still be done at
home. You can try games like "bring me", online bingo, "who can
say the longest happy birthday", and even the party-favorite
"pinoy-henyo".
#4 Talent Show Competition
Let the kids prepare their own
talents such as dance or song number which they can show during the birthday
party. Might as well go all out by preparing fun and exciting prizes that not
only the birthday celebrant but all the kids will remember.
